Holy Light Pentecostal     Ministries  Covenant

We thank you Lord for forgiving us, touching out hearts and accepting us.   We give you thanks for breaking the bands of intimidations of the enemy over our lives;  therefore,

We pledge Holiness unto the Lord God Almight, Creator, and Sustainer of all mankind.

We covenant with you Lord and each other to be forgiving as you have forgiven us;

To walk in unity and in the spirit of brotherly love:

To be faithful stewards of our time, influence, abilities and possessions; to use them wisely and fully in God's service;

To avoid all evil and abstain  from all uncleanness such as fornification, homosexuality, incest, pornography, and all such sexual immoralities;

To remove ourselves and avoid the use, sale and harboring of alcohol, drugs, tobbaco and all illegal substances;

To refrain from all forms of gambling such as lotteries, raffles, bingo, or an other similar vices.

We covenant with you Lord and each other  to be neither a tattler, backbiter, gossiper, liar, thief, nor busy body in the affairs of  others.
We will not let these once be named among us.

We covenant  with you Lord to give no place to the devil in excessive anger, rage, violence, or any similar behavior that will dishonor God and harm others.

We  covenant withyou Lord to care for the poor and needy, the sick and shut -in, the fatherless and widows, and to comfort the feeble-minded;

To maintain family devotions; to religiously educate our children, church and community; to seek the salvation of all mankind;

To assemble ourselves faithfully for worship, study, witness and fellowship:

To share one another's joys, to bear one another's burdens and sorrows and so fulfill the law of  Christ.

We covenant with you Lord to love and serve you with all  our heart, mind, soul, body, and strength; to love our neighbor as ourselves and to keep ourselves unspotted from the world.
